FINDING YOUR WAY TO TINSMITH’S

FROM NORWICH (15-20 minutes by car)

Take the A140 north out of Norwich towards Cromer. Follow the A140 to Aylsham. As you pass the sign for Aylsham you will come to a traffic island, go straight ahead and continue towards Aylsham town centre, passing the Bure Valley Railway on your right, Tesco on your left - cross a mini island, as you pass CT Baker Budgens supermarket on your left, take the next road on your right - this is Burgh Road. It is also the entrance for the free car park. Take the next left into the car park. Walk out of the car park and turn left, and you will find Oakfield Road on your left. Tinsmith's House is the third property on your right, go through the large barn doors, the main entrance is on the left.

FROM KINGS LYNN (1 hour by car)

Take the A149 out of Kings Lynn and keep travelling east towards Cromer and Fakenham. As you pass through Creake towards Thursford, turn right onto the B1354 road towards Briston and Melton Constable. Follow this road towards Saxthorpe and Corpusty and turn right towards a traffic island, the signs suggesting you turn right to Aylsham and Norwich. Ignore these and drive straight on towards Blickling Hall. Keep straight ahead and you will pass Blickling Hall on your left before you arrive in Aylsham, entering the Market Place on your left hand side. Follow the road around dropping down the right-hand side of the square, turn to the right and take the second road on the left. This is Burgh Road – follow signs for the free car park. Walk out of the car park and turn left, and you will find Oakfield Road on your left. Tinsmith's House is the third property on your right, go through the large barn doors, the main entrance is on the left.
